Rebecca Waletich LCSW has been working with the LGBTQ populations
since graduating with her MSW in 1999. Throughout her career she has
worked in a variety of mental health settings. In these settings, in
addition to working with LGBTQ clients, she has gained expertise in working
with autism spectrum, survivors of trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety
disorders. All of these experiences have proven invaluable for her work
with transgender people.
She has made working with transgender people one of her main
focuses. Rebecca works to keep abreast of clinical research and
advances in the field. In addition to attending conferences around the country,
she is active with community groups and advocacy efforts.
Therapeutic Services Offered: Individual
for Gender Dysphoria as well as other general mental health conditions.
This includes linking clients to medical and community resources for transition
as needed. Rebecca works with both adults and youth (4yrs old and over).
All of her services are consistent with WPATH SOC version 7. Access
to medical services is provided under and Informed Consent modality. Family Therapy - to assist the family in understanding and
affirming the client’s gender identity as well as other family issues as needed.
